![]() ![]() ![]() So, this is just to clarify that very common misconception. This is one of those myths that are picked up and then repeated endlessly (no knock on you DarkestLight). It should be pointed out that Open Cities by itself has no effect on performance - it is often all the other mods in a person's build that are effecting that. But its too much of a performance hog for what it offers, in my opinion anyways. Open Cities is a great idea and by itself a great mod. That means to avoid CTDs and maintain FPS you can't have as many NPCs in general, physics cloaks, highly scripted mods, city overhauls, etc. You have to balance your mod load out around those cities actually being playable.
